Perth Soo Bahk Do Introduction Course

Perth Soo Bahk Do is providing you the opportunity to join in for a 4 week free, absolutely obligation free, introduction course to see for yourself how our approach is completely different from anything you’ve tried before.

The course will be held at the Kardinya Community Hall on Wednesday from 6-7pm starting 2 May and is open to all ages 14yr and above. You will be guided by our Chief Instructor Frank Akkerboom, 3rd Dan in Soo Bahk Do.

What will you gain out of the introduction course

Self defence

During the course you will learn and understand the concept of self defence and some basic self defence techniques.

Beyond kicks & punches

During the course we will introduce some basic philosophies and concepts on which Soo Bahk Do is based on. This will help you in your daily life.


This introduction course will teach you the basics of Soo Bahk Do which can’t be found in any other martial arts.

Through Soo Bahk Do we learn to focus our concentration, one of the most valuable skills in life these days.

The Instructor

Frank Akkerboom has more than 20 years of Martial arts experience. His aim is to create a fun and stimulating environment for people to develop themselves to become a better version of themselves with the use of Soo Bahk Do.

The School

Perth Soo Bahk Do has been around for over 20 years. It has been the place for many students to learn the art of Soo Bahk Do, ranging from all ages and walks of life.
